FIVE EXOTIC WINE RECIPES
- Banana wine
Ingredients
- Fully ripened banana- 1 kg
- Sugar- 750 gm
- Boiled water- 2 liter
- Yeast- 10 gm
- Wheat- 50 gm
- Cardamom- 10 gm
Method
Soak the wheat in water overnight and the next day, rinse them and keep them in a muslin fabric for four days. Daily spray water twice and this process is done to allow the wheat to sprout. Chop the bananas in a square shape. Keep these bananas, sugar, cardamom, germinated wheat in various arrays inside a clean flagon. Above all these, add water and yeast and make sure that only ¾ part of the flagon is consumed. Stir up using a wood ladle every morning and evening for one week. After this, set it aside for two weeks and two weeks later, sift this wine and collect it in colored bottles. If you need to enhance the color of the wine, you can add caramelized sugar to it. Try to use it after one to three months of preservation. Your flustering Banana wine is ready now.
- Carrot wine
Ingredients
- Carrot- 1 kg
- Sugar- 1 kg
- Water- 1 litre
- Yeast- 10 gm
- Wheat- 100 gm
- Cinnamon- 10 gm
Method
Chop carrots and boil them with water and cinnamon. After cooling it down, pour it into the flagon along with sugar, wheat, yeast and stir all together. After two weeks, stir again with a wooden ladle and set it aside without shaking for 90 days. After 90 days, sift this wine into colored bottles and use it after one month. Your Carrot wine is all set now.
- Pineapple wine
Ingredients
- Fully ripened pineapple- 1 kg
- Sugar-1 kg
- Lukewarm water- 2 liters
- Yeast- 10 gm
- Wheat- 100 gm
- Egg white- 2 nos
Method
Wash the pineapple and chop it in a square shape with skin. In a clean flagon, arrange these pineapple pieces, sugar, and wheat in arrays. Add water and yeasts into it and make sure that only ¾ part of the flagon is consumed. Stir up this mixture using a wood ladle every morning and evening for one week. After this, set it aside for two weeks and two weeks later, pour the beaten egg white into this. Keep it without shaking again for 9 days. Finally, sift the wine into colored bottles and use it after one month. Your finest Pineapple wine is ready to have a sip.
- Gooseberry wine
Ingredients
- Gooseberries- 3 kg
- Jaggery- 2 kg
- Water- 2 liters
- Cinnamon, clove, cinnamon, pepper, nutmeg, star anise, sweet cumin- each one 10 gm
Method
Wash gooseberries properly and dry them with a cotton cloth. Place these gooseberries and powdered jaggery alternatively in a flagon then pour water and powdered spices. Set aside it for 2 months and then sift the wine in colored bottles. Your healthy Gooseberry wine will be ready in 6 months.
- Cashew-fruit wine
Ingredients
- Cashew fruit- 1 kg
- Sugar- 250 gm
- Rice water- 50 ml
- Yeast- 5 gm
- Egg white- 1 no
Method
Remove the two end sides of ripened cashew fruits and cut them into four pieces. Mix these chopped cashew fruits with sugar and keep them aside for 15 minutes. Yield the pulp from this mixture and mix with rice water for fermentation. Keep this composition after adding yeast to the flagon for two to four weeks. After four weeks, add the beaten egg into this and put it away for one week. After sifting, preserve wine in colored bottles. Serve your healthy Cashew-fruit wine after 6 months or one year.
