Ingredients for Onion Paratha recipe
Method
Step 1
Add wheat flour and gram flour, mix it in a bowl.
Step 2
Add ajwain, kalonji, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and 3 tbsp of ghee, mix it well.
Step 3
Put onion and coriander leaves, mix it well.
Step 4
Add water, squeeze with the hands, and make a smooth dough.
Step 5
Take a small portion of dough and roll it into a ball, dust it with dry flour and roll it into paratha.
Step 6
Repeat the process to make paratha from the remaining dough.
Step 7
Turn on the flame, heat Tawa on medium flame.
Step 8
Once the Tawa is heated, place the rolled paratha on it.
Step 9
Cook it for 6-8 seconds then flip it, apply little ghee on both sides of the paratha.
Step 10
Flip it in between to cook the paratha evenly from each side.
Step 11
Take it out on a plate and repeat the process to make the remaining paratha.
Step 12
Onion paratha is ready to serve, serve it with curd or raita or chutney.
