Healthy recipes for Evening Craving
Having healthy snacks in our diet can be beneficial, as they increase nutrient intake, sustain energy levels. So, here are some healthy recipes that will prove to be guilt-free snacks.
Bored of eating oatmeal, peanut butter, yogurt, hummus, etc. as evening snacks. Here are some mouthwatering Indian-style recipes that will calm your hunger craving in a healthy and flavourful manner.
Starting a day healthy is far easier than ending it in the same manner because our body and mind start craving for something junk. The time after lunch and before dinner seems to be infinite and we often end up munching junk food.
So, here are some sensational recipes that are quick, filling, and healthy.
- Indian style Tacos
Ingredients
- 4 leftover Chapatis
- Any dry vegetable from lunch
- Cheese (grated)
- 1 chopped onion
- Boiled corn(optional)
- Pizza sauce(or whichever sauce available)
- Paneer(optional)
- oil/ghee
Method :
- Take a pan and put little oil or ghee
- Now place a chapati on the pan and apply pizza sauce
- Put dry vegetable(sabzi) on one side
- Put chopped onion, paneer, corn
- Now put the grated cheese and turn the other side of the chapati like a taco.
- You can also use a griller or microwave(180degree for 5-7 minutes)
2) Murmure Poha
Ingredients
- 4 cup Murmure
- 1 Chopped Onion
- Peanuts
- Mustard seeds
- Turmeric
- Red chilly powder
- Chaat masala (optional)
- Salt
- Oil
Method
- In a bowl take water and add murmure into it for 30 sec
- Now squeeze out water from the murmure and place it into a sieve
- Take a pan and add 2 tbsp oil when the is oil hot add mustard seeds
- Now add peanut and fry them for 30 sec and then add onion
- Fry the onion till they become translucent, now add all the spices like turmeric, red chili powder, chaat masala, and salt
- Now finally add the murmure and mix well and then,

3) Atta Rava Dosa
Ingredients
- 1 cup Rava or suji
-¼ Wheat flour
- 1 cup Curd
- ¼ tsp Baking soda
- Salt
Method
- In a bowl,add Rava,atta,curd,salt and mix well
- Now add little water to prepare the batter and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes check the batter and add water if it has become too thick
- Add baking soda and mix well
- Take a non-stick pan or your dosa Tawa and grease it with oil
- Pour the batter and spread it evenly like dosa
- Let it cook till it becomes golden brown.
- Your instant healthy dosa is ready

Recipe for Peanut Chutney
Ingredients
-1 cup peanut
-1 cup curd
-2 green chillies
-Coriander
-Salt
Method
- Mix all the ingredients and grind it into a smooth paste
4) Banana Pancake
Ingredients
- 4 ripe Banana
- 4 tbsp Jaggery
- 1 cup Wheat flour or atta
- fennel seeds
- cinnamon or cardamom
Method
- Take a bowl and mash the Banana
- Now add jaggery to the bowl and mix them
- Add wheat flour, fennel seeds, and cinnamon or cardamom
- Slowly add water and make a smooth and loose batter
- Make sure that there are no lumps
- Heat the non-stick or cast iron tawa and grease it with ghee or butter
- Now pour 1 spoon batter and gently spread it
- On low heat cook for 2 minutes on each side
The pancakes are ready. Enjoy it with some honey!!!
